Project Beauty’s Audrey Hasson reports on a skincare line specifically developed for those undergoing cancer treatment.  Oftentimes, treatments for cancer can affect the skin, leaving it dry or flaky, and more sensitive to exposure to sun, wind, and other elements. And chemotherapy can affect the skin’s natural moisture because it reduces the amount of oil the glands secrete.

Lindi Skin is one company dedicated to developing skin care products that help individuals feel better, both physically and emotionally. They believe that emotional well-being is tied to physical well-being, and how you feel about yourself starts with your skin.

In 2003, Lindy Snider watched as her friends went through Chemo Therapy and Radiation Treatments. While expecting her friends to be affected by the “traditional” side effects of the treatment, what Lindy did not expect were the harsh effects the treatment incurred on her friends’ skin, effects that directly impacted how these women and men felt about themselves.

That is when the idea for the Lindi Skin product line was developed.  A year later, Lindy had created a full line of products that were luxurious, safe, and made from the highest-quality ingredients.  And because Lindi Skin grew out of her desire to help individuals undergoing cancer treatment, they pledge a portion of their profits each year to this cause.
