Multiple Plastic Surgeries?

Think of the movie and pop stars you’ve seen in the pages of the National Enquirer or People, and you’ve probably noticed many on their second or third facelift. You may be wondering, if I opt for a facelift, will I need another in a few years? Isn’t one facelift enough?

Project Beauty’s Audrey Hasson looks into the matter and finds that the goal of a facelift is to make a person look refreshed by gently lifting and pulling back tissue in certain areas. Typically, such a procedure reduces the appearance of a person’s age by 10 to 12 years but, of course, does not stop the aging process. Once surgery is completed, as the person ages, the facelift will allow for aging as well, complementing the person’s natural aging process.

However, some may decide to do additional procedures as they age, whether additional full facelifts or focusing on specific areas, but this is a purely an individual decision, as facelifts are designed to last, enhancing your appearance, as one ages.
