For patient Eileen, after undergoing surgery as a youth, the doctor accidentally severed a nerve, which led to some paralysis on her face. Today, as a classroom teacher, Eileen is passionate and energetic, but when she would show such excitement, the paralysis on her face was more evident. Additionally, her ophthalmologist informed her that her eye was beginning to close, and recommended she see a board certified plastic surgeon to correct the eye issue.

Upon finding a plastic surgeon, Eileen asked for his recommendation on what would work best to achieve her goal of having a more symmetrical face. Her surgeon recommended that she have her eyes done, as well as a brow lift, neck lift, and face lift, and that these procedures would help her achieve her desired look. Eileen says she was “jumping for joy” at the prospect of her desired look being achieved.

Not only was the doctor able to fix the paralyzed area, but Eileen says that he “gave me my youth back. I feel young, vibrant, and terrific.” Now, she feels as if she is living life much more fully than before. With new-found self-confidence as a result of her procedures, she finds herself going out to more museums, theater, restaurants, comedy clubs, and other venues, and really celebrating her life.
