Rosemary - Menopause Changed My Breasts

Feeling the effects of menopause, Rosemary saw a new doctor, who overprescribed estrogen. Within a couple months, Rosemary, who had always been small framed with double-D breast size, found herself with double-F breasts. Realizing she needed to do something, she saw her doctor, who suggested surgery.

Rosemary, however, decided to wait, as she didn’t like the idea of surgery. She wrestled with the choice between doing the surgery or just leaving her chest the way that it was, until one morning, she looked in the mirror and knew what needed to be done.

Making an appointment, her board certified plastic surgeon explained the entire procedure to her, showing her photographs, and answering all of her questions. After the surgery, Rosemary was back at work within four days. She felt great and had no negative reactions.

Her doctor told her, prior, that after the surgery she’d have the breasts of a 19-year-old, but Rosemary is so delighted, insisting that even she didn’t have breasts like she does now at 19.

It has now been 10 years since her surgery, and she has no visible scarring, and, to Rosemary, her breasts still look “perfect.” She found that this milestone improved her life dramatically, and she says it was “one of the best decisions” she has made.
