Beth Longshore - I Have a Flat Stomach

Reading a local magazine one day, Beth saw a photo which caught her eye, which were before and after photographs of a woman’s stomach who had undergone a tummy tuck procedure. Realizing that her own stomach looked very much like the “before” photograph, Beth knew that she too could have the flat and smooth stomach, similar to the one in the “after” photo.

After doing much research into the procedure, Beth knew that she wanted to do it. She understood that it was a painful procedure, as muscles are cut and skin is tightened, but felt that the longtime rewards outweighed the momentary discomfort. And while she did experience the expected pain, she was so thrilled with her results that she felt it was worth it. Even in the recovery room, Beth could tell that her body felt tighter and leaner, and she was so happy, she gave her doctor a hug.

For Beth, undergoing a tummy tuck made her feel so much more beautiful, and her only regret is that she didn’t do it 20 years ago, so that she could’ve lived her life more fully.
