“I like the simplicity of use, the gentleness of the product, and the response of the patients and those around them. There is no other cream that works like Elure. It is different from hydroquinone. Elure breaks down existing pigmentation while hydroquinone prevents future pigmentation. None of my patients has had any adverse reactions and almost all have been pleased with the change in the appearance of their skin. The only disappointments have been when patients have expected pigmented nevi to disappear or dark infraorbital circles to improve. Elure actually breaks down existing pigmentation and somehow makes the skin look “brighter” and more “luminous”. I recommend that my patients use these products at night until they have achieved the degree of improvement they want, usually taking 1-3 months……then as necessary according to the appearance of their skin and their ability to protect themselves from sun exposure.

“One of the most commonly asked questions I get during skincare consultations is “What can I do about these dark circles under my eyes?” Patients are generally unaware of the causes of these persistent circles. I tell my patients that these circles are caused by fragile capillaries that leak blood close to the skin’s surface. Because the delicate skin around the eye is so thin, almost transparent, the oxidized blood becomes very visible, almost like a bruise. Many products tout claims that they can eliminate dark circles (and we have tried them all). In my opinion, Auriderm illume eye crème is the hands down winner. The vitamin K oxide found in this crème activates the body’s natural healing process and helps to strengthen the capillary walls to help prevent future leakage. It also helps reduce puffiness and has light reflective properties to enhance the effect of the cream. I instruct my patients to use a pea sized amount of this cream twice daily. The vitamin K oxide will need to be placed on the back of the hand and rolled for a minute to activate. Also keep in mind, if a patient needs moisture or anti aging around the eye then an additional eye cream can be placed on top of the Auriderm. This is a medical grade eye treatment for dark circles and not formulated for anti aging. ”

In recent years, I have always looked for TIZO3 sunscreen to add to my sample bag. It occurred to me that if I liked it that much, so would my patients. We now offer it as one of our favorite sunscreens. TIZO3 is a tinted water resistant sunscreen with physical blockers Titanium Dixoide and Zinc Oxide and is manufactured by Fallene. TIZO3 is paraben free, as well as oil, PABA and fragrance free. One of the best things about this unique sunscreen product is that it is tinted and can look great on anyone’s skin tone.
